I think that the "Maker's Bill of Rights" and the "Crafter's manifesto" would be excellent ways to decorate the back of your bizcards Phil. Also, a EULA type thing saying what you CAN do with this business card would be cool. Have fun you crazy kid!(I am soooo jealous)

Those laser engravers are darned expensive. If Bre is looking for something to do for a weekend project maybe he could come up with a laser attachment for his drawbot. What about it Big Guy?

I would love to get one of those engravers. To justify the cost, I'd have to use it to make things to sell. I have a few ideas but it's still a huge risk if the ideas don't pay off.

How about "The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized." It should go over great at airport security .

I know this is heretical, but I would suggest putting *nothing* on the back of your business card. I have worked for several companies that insist on cluttering up the back of the business card, leaving nowhere for me or the recipient to write notes.

How 'bout something usefull? Curency convertion tables, a ruler, or a page out of the pocket ref.

jvboone, on my work cards I put a little box at the top that says "Notes" and the rest of the back is covered by a light grey grid. This was after I learned that covering too much of the writable area reduces the usability of the card.
