This is a surplus store in Orlando (off fairbank just east of I4). It has everything from scrap metal to fasteners to NOS components to 3 foot tall variacs. Whenever I leave, I am not satisfied because there's always another cool thing you didn't leave with... - Paul.
This is the most awesome store on the planet! Need IC? Heat Shrink? Glass? Sheet Metal? Bomb casings? Resistors? Capacitors? You name it, they have it! I really miss this place (moved away) and haven't found one like it near my new stomping grounds. I'm thinking about flying down there periodically to get my fix - Andrew.

I Was waiting for Skycraft to pop up here.
Since moving to Orlando I've spent countless hours wandering the aisles of Skycraft and mentally assembling countless gadgets.
The availability of such a wonderful array of components ranging from digital controllers to old analog instrumentation made me fall in love as soon as I walked through the door.

I've been loving this store for years, the prices used to be alot better, but it's still good. They've got great scrap metal for good prices still, and lots of good surplus. Leds and switches in buckets by the register, fiber optic cable by the foot, motors, transformers, and all sorts of random stuff by the bucketload.

Great place. I would have been #4 to submit it had I not been lazy/too busy. I wish I understood what even 1/4 of the stuff in there does.

Yes, Skycraft is the first and last place to go when you need that certain thing that you can't describe. It's one of those places that you need hours to explore because each aisle is packed floor to ceiling with goodies. I'd have to agree, it has gotten a bit pricey for a few things and I find myself hitting Harbor Freight for that odd tool now, but if I need ANY IC, cap, pot, resistor, nylon or metal hardware, aluminum stock, shrink tube in any size/color (ask the wire guys).... good god this list could go on forever.

I have been dealing with SkyCraft since day one and have not found any better. I drive over 125 miles to shop here.
