The Hadley Farm Museum in Hadley, Massachusetts has a dog-powered washing machine. Since I grew up nearby, it was a common (and cheap) field trip for grade schoolers. I always considered the dog treadmill to be the highlight of the trip. I remember it looking a lot like those pictured above.
