Looks like my man bought a kit and did this, or got them preassembled. I started looking for parts to do something similar, and got a neat tip. If you're looking for the drums, try to find a car wash in your area ('round these parts, it's Auto Bell). I called AB up and got ahold of their warehouse people, and was told that yes, their windshield cleaner and soap come in big plastic drums.
They give the empties to their franchisees to use as waste cans, but said I could have as many as I wanted. I'm driving over tomorrow to get four so I can build my own system! The cleaning solvents are all lightweight and will wash right out.
