What's with this plural for multiple pieces of LEGO LEGOs??

It is called LEGO and many pieces of LEGO are still LEGO. Because there is just one LEGO and you can have many pieces of it.

Just like sand. It is not that you can say sands, but pieces of sand. Or a handful of sand.

I see LEGO as bulk with a general name on it. And since it is a brand, you can't say it in the plural form.

but unomi, would you say "a hundred ford" or "a hundred fords" if you were describing a grouping of ford vehicles?

either works, and even you managed to know what they were talking about, and you seem to be the LEGO-nazi of MAKE

\or is it MAKES?
