They make excellent chop saw tables if you install a shelf such that the wings end up at the same height as the saw platform.

I used one along with some flexible copper pipe and a small electric circulating pump to make a hot water heater for a hot tub made from an insulated tote used by the fish processing operations in my town. We set it up to have a warming tub for people that participate in our log rolling contest for the 4th of July celebration.
