One of my favorite makers waldemeyer.com sent in his pong table!
“I saw all the ping pong tables on the make blog and I thought my Pong Table would fit in there, too. It is made of Corian, has about 2500 LEDs embedded, run by a couple of PIC microcontrollers with two hidden track pads on either end as input devices. When switched off, non of this technology is visible, the table can be used as a normal dining table. The LEDs shine through the material and the trackpads work through the material, too.
Have a look through my website… there are more make-compatible projects like robotic dresses, a roulette table, text message chandelier etc.” – Link.

Holy crap! This is the same guy that did the electronics for the Hussein Chalayan transforming dresses. Everything this guy has done is amazing. Such a great combination of technical skill and aesthetic beauty.
Pity the site has exceeded it’s alloted bandwidth …
