One of my favorite makers waldemeyer.com sent in his pong table!

“I saw all the ping pong tables on the make blog and I thought my Pong Table would fit in there, too. It is made of Corian, has about 2500 LEDs embedded, run by a couple of PIC microcontrollers with two hidden track pads on either end as input devices. When switched off, non of this technology is visible, the table can be used as a normal dining table. The LEDs shine through the material and the trackpads work through the material, too.

Have a look through my website… there are more make-compatible projects like robotic dresses, a roulette table, text message chandelier etc.”Link.

Holy crap! This is the same guy that did the electronics for the Hussein Chalayan transforming dresses. Everything this guy has done is amazing. Such a great combination of technical skill and aesthetic beauty.
