They just used a postal label because they're free and durable. Nobody would try to mail that, they will probably just stick it up on a wall somewhere.

What I love most about conductive-ink/paint based projects are that they eliminate the need for any fancy SMD soldering tools, reflow ovens and the like. Everything is handled at room temperature...

Just remember to keep that fume-hood fan running, to pull the solvent fumes away from yer lungs.
