Make maps! Shops, makers and places!

Img413 1572
MAKE pal Pauric helped us with this great map you can use to find MAKE-friendly shops, other makers and places. Each week or so we post interesting places for suprlus goods, electronics and just about anything else that our Makers send in that are useful for folks who build things, so now we have a map, check it out and add your own.

It's beta-ish, so let us know if there are any problems.

i added bataeff salvage in santa rosa, but didn't add the zip code, and it put the marker in the wrong spot, in what is technically oakmont. There was no way to delete it once I added it (permission denied), so i just re-added it in the right place. Now there's two. Maybe make it possible for users to delete places if they move or go out of business, or in case of user error.

Yay! I really could have used this a while ago when I moved to a new town. Took me about a year to find the hole in the wall electronics shop.

Thanks tenax8, you highlight a valid issue. I'll look in to how we can setup some form of moderator.

Yeah. I created the wrong Orvac Electronics in the Middle-of-nowhere, China. Entered in the Lat&Long incorrectly. Can't delete... (correct one is in Fullerton, CA, USA).
