I'm having a really hard time getting my head around the amount of work that went into making this and the other pieces on Malcolms' website. As a keen amateur woodworker I find this work to be the most amazing I have ever seen in this medium. In the piece that's shown in the Make: blog article, there are 12,000 individual pieces of wood... just staggering.
