Need a rocket? Norton Sales might just have it, this looks like a great place for Makers!

Norton Sales has been a leading supplier of Aerospace and Industrial supplies since 1962. Our customers tend to be small shops and individuals who are looking for very specific, and often hard to find, parts for rocketry, stunt equipment, movie props and old school hydraulics. We have so many unique products in stock, that it would be nearly impossible to list them all. Browse through the listing on the left to get an idea of the types of parts we have in stock. Give us a call, and one of our staff will help you find what you are looking for.

Every time I see a new store like this posted on here my mouth almost starts watering, yet I'm out here on the east coast, in New York, and these are all on the other side of the nation. I would love to take a paycheck and stock up on some parts for projects, but I don't know of any similar stores near me.

Is there a directory somewhere which lists all of these great stores selling old surplus items, or does anyone have personal knowledge of a store like this in the New York area?

Maker Directory;

Someone was building a list of places like this in Google Earth, I haven't kept up with it. We are pretty lucky out here on the west coast, with all the aerospace surplus stores and swap meets.
