Errrr... umm.. that's not an instrument, it's a tool for helping people follow along.

Hahaha, nice idea, I actually tried to follow along and it was pretty hard. It might be because I'm mostly used to following along just by ear rather than by some paper on a guys head.
All in all, I found it much easier when only the foot were shown then when the head was, and actually looking at someone's finger is easier then that, and actually following along by ear is easier than all of that. Anyhow, nice idea! Tried it with leds instead (though that would screw the awesome turkey baster idea :P)
