Fire truck 508D Diesel Doka mods

Feuerwehr
Ryan writes in with his mods to a fire truck just like the one we have at MAKE -

Hello, I am the guy that was mentioned in one of the [MAKE] forums. I am a blacksmith on a journeyman tour of the northeast part of the U.S.. I made many mods to my 508d. And I have driven from the Seattle area to the east coast and have been living and working out of my rig. made many mods to my 508d. I have made a living, cooking and lounging accommodations inside. Upstairs I have an Italian Autohome car top camper on top with a queen size memory foam mattress with a retractable ladder, all pushed forward so that I can fit two comfy lawn chairs on the aft deck. Then in the back with the roll up door I have two forges one coal the other propane, my anvil, vice, hand tools, power tools, generator etc. Like I said I have have made many mods; heavyduty front bumper, rino lining, sound system, sound proofing!!!! etc. If you would like some advice from someone who has done it send me an email. I also can give you advice on biodiesel if you need. I have a little knowledge, I helped start a medium size biodiesel plant (250,000gal a year production).

For Sale - 1967 - Mercedes Benz Fire truck - 12k miles - Excellent Condition

Hey,

Doing a search on the web I found this article and thought maybe there's someone out there that'd want to have something similar to what is above. I got fotos for you.

All the equipment is still in the truck and the pump on the front of the truck is in good working order. It was donated to me and I have no need for it. Email me for price and fotos.
