Aw i was hoping it was vice versa: a pen turned into a soldering iron. i'm not very dexterous with the soldering iron, and that kind of dexterity (such as with a writing pen) would be handy on small solders.

I agree, I think it would be a better project if a wireless pen sized soldering iron was made. Honestly who cares about a pen that looks like a soldering iron and has no added functionality. My 2 year old can slap a pen in a soldering iron.
