Big ol' fake out. Unless I'm smoking crack, the Chumby is still not available to the common folk, only the cool kids. If you click on one of the colors as if you want to buy one, which I do, the site directs you the "Chumby Store Will Open Soon!" page. Wah-wahhhhhhhhh.

Don't feel so bad that you're not cool enough to use the store. Chumby is interesting, but I'm having my doubts about it after using it for a couple weeks. If you want to buy mine, I'd sell it to ya.

I'd like to hear some of the doubts you're having.
I think I'd like one next to the bed in the morning, but $180 ain't an impulse buy.

I can't wait to get one, unfortunately the store is not open until sometime in November. You can submit an email and you may get one sooner. What are your doubts zimmer62?
I can use it to play my ipod, as an alarm clock, as a stock ticker etc... The things you can do seem endless

One thing I noticed from the FAQ is that they push what sound basically like ads to you in order to fund their network. Don't like that. I'd much rather just pay a small monthly fee than screw with some sort of ad.
Many of the standalone widgets are fun to just run in a browser window.
