This footage does look very good, but what exactly is being tested here? Are we checking some specific or special camera settings? Was the footage made with a camera that was hacked or altered in some way?

raw footage off the camera (a pocketable hd camera)

Will this become a DIY project? Is the camera open source? Or is this just an ad for Canon that missed the banner at the top of the page?

It's not an ad. That would mean they are making money off of this. if anything, they are getting charged with enormous bandwidth of these 100+ MB files.

@Voik - i bought a new camera and i'm testing inside, outside footage and uploading the raw files.

if other people google around or search the web to see the quality of the camera they can check it out --- that's what i like to do.

as far as it being diy, you'll see a lot of videos i film with it.

and no, we were not paid in any way, canon is not a sponsor. jeez.

If they do become a sponsor and you get some free schwagg, could you please pass some of it on to me? The footage from that camera looks way awesome and I'd love to "test" one out for Canon.
