OK so is this book actually on the shelves? I ordered it through Amazon in April when you first mentioned it and at that point it was supposed to have a ship date in like June or July. Every month or so I get an email from amazon saying that the ship date is being pushed back and right now I have a delivery estimate of Nov 27th. What caused all the delays and should I cancel my amazon order and order the book through other avenues to get it sooner?

I'm the editor of this book. It is in print now, and Amazon should be receiving stock soon if they don't have it already.
Very sorry about the delays... the author and the designers poured a lot of energy into this and spent the time getting everything right, from building/testing/debugging/improving the projects to making sure the book was easy to use for people who want to build these projects themselves. It took a little longer that way, but the result is really wonderful.
