Here's a video of the Honda ASIMO humanoid robot, it can self-charge and serve drinks. Incredibly interesting robotics, but I still like Sony's approach when they were in the robot race - the QRIO was never a robot slave in any way, it was a robotic friend - serving drinks is interesting and a good demo but I miss the QRIO. In 2008 I'll see if we can talk Sony in to open sourcing the QRIO - that would be a great way to continue the project...
