Now if you could just embed that in the bottom of a cup with the wires run thru the table in a coffee shop or at a breakfast place , set it the frequency so that it would Growl , everything someone tried to pick it up .

A growling mug... perhaps! I'll look for another object to capacitance-ify that will be equally entertaining.

You'd use osc~ instead of cycle~ of course, and could reduce the mess between average~ 1024 and sqrt~ into a -~ and *~ that you set manually.

does the "average~" object exist in PD? if not is there an alternative?
