Flying saucer made from old satellite dishes

One maker's quest for adventure in the wilds surrounding Houston, TX. I also make assorted homemade gear such as woodgas stoves and a home-built MIOX water purifier. Oh, it also shows my brother's flying saucer made from two old, 10' satellite dishes.

Now he needs to make some Pikmin to go underneath it.

Yeah Pikmin! Merriwether should plant a bunch of daisys in a ring underneath.

Nifty, but you do know that you can probably buy a real flying UFO from the money you can raise by selling those dishes. (Unless of course the dishes already had dents)

A new 10' dish is usually worth several thousand euros. (By the time you read this this is probably tens of thousands of US dollars)

Casandro, here in the southern U.S. old satellite dishes are quite common. I have an old 10' dish in my yard that was there when I purchased my house this past year. It has probably been there for at least 20 years. I didn't know what to do with it until now.
