my asus eee just arrived yesterday. Though simplistic the Xandros OS is friendly and functional and I am surprised to say I'll be little sad when I wipe it and install one of the many tasty K/Ubuntu options out there.

Check out the link -- Utterly amazing amount and quality of work on a cheap platform. Kind of like turning a Yugo into an F-22 from the ground up.
