I think the design could be a little hipper, but these earplug earrings are a good idea and potentially a nice (re)make -

even though it's very usefall, the design is a real turn-off. maybe if the colors of the earplug were a little more suttle...

I remember seeing this invention on a saturday morning program for young inventors ("Dr. Fad") in the late 80's. Good effort, though...
