Here's a new digital zine from some familiar folks! Mark Frauenfelder & Mister Jalopy. Mr. J writes -
The first issue of Dispatch is a handy heyday magazine of projects, techniques and tools loosely arranged around the idea of transport.Dinosaurs and Robots Dispatch - Link.Besides building the projects and doing the work, I was also the sole designer, photographer, writer and editor. It was a lot of effort. Maybe 60 hours as it required a lot of starting from scratch. But, it was great fun and the next one will be less onerous as I have set some standards for how I want to convey information.
As a Journeyman Electrician, I've used that style, and I much prefer the Klein Tools model 1010 wire strippers. They are MUCH better at stripping wire! (about the same as for crimping: adequate) They have a better cutting surface,and have pliers on the tip, instead of the ineffective cutter. I know it's just personal preference, but I just hate it when people say "You should have one of these tools!" and then show the kind that I hate.

Those Klein strippers are a nice looking tool! For pure wirestripping deliciousness, I like a tool like this:
But the one I featured is my favorite in a desert-island-one-tool-in-the-glove-box way.

Those Klein strippers are a nice looking tool! For pure wirestripping deliciousness, I like a tool like this:
