RSSSteam-powered time machine
Here's a strange steam-powered kinetic sculpture by Alan Rorie, who works under the name Almost Scientific. He explains:
The Dihemispheric Chronaether Agitator is a kinetic, "steampunk" sculpture of a "time machine" that is powered by a real steam boiler and steam engine. It was built in collaboration with my good friends at Kinetic Steam Works. It was original displayed at the Edwardian Ball in 2008 and will be displayed again this spring as part of the the Steampunk Treehouse instillation at the Coachella music festival.

I have heard rumors that Pipewell was a Martian sympathizer though--can you defend this atrocious claim?

My dear Hildebrandt,
I myself have achieved slightly better then 1SPS in my (somewhat illegal) experiments on Interstate 90 - though admittedly not under steam.
What have you been up to?

But of course I'm been rude, using this opportunity to taunt my nemesis rather then praise this wondrous mechanism!
It is indeed a thing of beauty and I am certain allows manipulation of fierce energies!

My time machine, which looks remarkably like a mattress, allows its user to close his/her eyes and arrive 3 or 4 or even 8 hours in the future. The experience is made more enjoyable by sharing it with a member of the opposite sex.
