The Nanoscope, Apple TV from the 70's

At the very least, this is an interesting gadget to have sitting on your desk. The styling is cool and so is the external speaker so your friends can listen. However, the not so cool part is having to encode all your video's upside down. - Link

Very cool, very retro (uh, it's from the 70's? It's the original retro!) and the Chariots of Fire theme was pretty original!

ahem luddite that I am, but wouldn't it be more practical to remake it so the nano slides in from the bottom, with the controls still outside and thus remove the need to encode upside down?

Couldn't you just mod the kickstand so the whole thing rests 'upside down' without the need to cut a new hole?

Hahaha, this is not the 70's, this is 30's. It needs a water-filled lense :)
