"Volumen", a giant graphic equalizer built by Argentinian artist, Sergio Avello relays the ambient urban noise levels around the Redgaleria in Buenos Aires. Pretty intense way of visualizing the constant buzz of the city, plus nice shots of the internal circuits at the below link.

I think it's not a graphic equalizer, it's a giant digital VU meter. It's a great idea for create social concience of the city noise consecuence.

We prefer Argentine.
It is much more common than Argentinian.
Google is your friend.
Argentine = 40,100,000
Argentinian = 5,210,000
Argentinean = 3,420,000

Well, on the other side of the street Repsol YPF SA are working on a photovoltaic panel connected to a speaker that informs the city's inhabitants audibly of the level of ambient light pollution. When the two systems are combined it will generate enough light and sound to overcome recent power shortages in the country.
