
David on Robot w/Lasers created a handheld gaming device using an ATMEGA32 and an 8x8 LED matrix. It's currently running a breakout-style program he wrote and the self contained platform shows a lot of potential. Complete with directional pad and A/B-style buttons, it could be great for those interested in AVR learning and development. (perhaps along the lines of the AVR Butterfly) Hmm, but it could use a catchy name . . . AVR-boy? - nah, too obvious.
