Hey NYC folks, here's an event that might interest you:

The Texas Firehouse, an alternative gallery and performance space in Long Island City, NY is hosting an iron pour on May 17. In addition to the pour (which is free to watch) we're also having a series of mold-making workshops at a variety of skill levels. Seasoned sculptors are welcome, as are kids.

So, have something you've always wanted recreated in iron? This is for you, or anyone who wants to see an iron pour in person.
