Let 'em eat Kindle Cake

Kindle may not be exactly the killer e-book app we were hoping for, but it makes a lovely sugary confection. Mr. Bezos got such a geeky snortle out of it that he put it on the front page of Amazon. To eat a piece, you have to pay for each slice that you want, and many slices are not available for consumption at this time.

I've been reading books electronically on palm PDAs since 1998, but I don't really get Kindle. It's much more expensive than a PDA, feels clunkier, and only does one thing. Now I even use my PDA for audiobooks, and watch movies on the colour screen.
Plus Kindle is tied into those silly amazon e-books that cost more than the paperbacks. If I want an ebook, the PDA is better, but even a paperback is better than kindle.
