MP3 player responds to its environment

Greg Bertrand's Arduino controlled MP3 player changes its volume based on its distance from its listener and changes other parameters from built in sensors. Pretty cool idea except for the fact that most people carry their MP3 players in their pockets, a trend that would render this device unlistenable.
