Somebody clandestinely snapped these pics of Buddha heads carved out of phone books at the recent TED conference (where cameras are forbidden).

As of last week, there were some of these on display in the main hall of the Low Library at Columbia University in NYC. I do not know how long they will be there

It took me a second to put the two together, but that is really ingenious. What a great way to recycle! I really enjoyed browsing over the other picture you have up too, like the bear made out of gum--way cool! Thanks
