Somebody clandestinely snapped these pics of Buddha heads carved out of phone books at the recent TED conference (where cameras are forbidden).

As of last week, there were some of these on display in the main hall of the Low Library at Columbia University in NYC. I do not know how long they will be there

Forbidding cameras never seems to actually work. Why does anyone still bother?
