Remember but wireless router manufacturers recommend
at least two feet separation between you and the router..

I got some of these for my garage. They are really a great alternative to pegboard. This may be a good use for them as well...

Gak,

Just get regular Peg board and some aluminum flashing. Clamp it to the peg board and start drilling holes. A couple of bolts to attach the flashing and the peg board together when you have it on the wall and you have a durable metal cover. It'll cost you $15 bucks for a piece twice the size of what is in that link.
