might be cool - don't know

This might be cool or not - It's hard to tell.

Why?


The video is down, probably because too many people are accessing it.

And there is no description of the link. And clicking on the "Danger Shield" link only takes you to another blog that doesn't explain what a danger shield is.

Only by clicking on another link in this other blog do you finally get to a web site that describes...oh...something I really wasn't interested in.

Let's all follow good wed design and include descriptions with our links, please?

Looks easy to slap together a workalike version from (mostly) salvage heap parts:

Cool to build similar devices on top of Arduino-- just like you can buy a built Diecimila and shield or make your own from hacked old stuff-- so programs can be swapped to get similar behavior on differently built boxes.

Would love to see open source reference designs to turn cheap+dumb appliances into smart machines with style...
