Last night I was fortunate enough to attend David Young's MFA thesis exhibition at the Icehouse in Phoenix. He uses many interesting materials including pneumatics and surveillance cameras in his sphere-filled show titled "Unknown Object-ive." From an interview with a local paper, he says:

"They're not meant to be looked at simply as beautiful objects," says Young. "They do something. They don't just sit there waiting for someone to come along and behold them."

The show will be up until April 11.
