David Jones made this calculator watch from off-the-shelf components, and made a killer site for it with some hints for making your own. Let’s hope he completes the full tutorial, or at least starts selling them on Etsy. Via Evil Mad Scientist Laboratories.

    What’s missing is what kind of Microcontroller it has. If it has enought RAM you might do even cooler things with that little device. You might, in fact, even have a complete computer on your wristwatch.

    Yes, it’s a PIC24FJ64GA004 with 64KB of FLASH program memory, 8KB of SRAM, and an external 64KB of EEPROM memory. So it really is a complete computer on your wrist, it can be programmed to whatever you want using the free Microchip C30 compiler.
