Solar Powered Robotic Mobiles

Mark Malmberg makes these really nice solar powered mobiles. He has a few of them posted on his website, so make sure to click around to view more of his work.

The mobiles convert sunlight into electricity to animate themselves in improvisational ways. Wireless communication (Bluetooth) is a feature of my latest works-in-progress, allowing the emergence of group behaviors in larger numbers of suspended critters.
