Buzzfeed has an interesting round up of "Scraper Bikes" - bikes with matching body and wheel colors, many of the materials are from discarded packaging, trash wrapped in foil.

So let me get this right. Basically you steal someones bike, make look soooo ugly that the original owner would never be able to spot it.
