Do the mod as described, then rip the flash unit out and place it behind the lens (where the film would normally go). Place a small image (a cutout, or something on developed film) between the flash unit and the lens. Start the thing flashing - it will be in a continuous look projecting your image onto whatever you want. Like the Image Fulgurator but not flash triggered.

Uh...try that askvictor. I don't think it will work with the lens on the camera.
We've seen some decent projection systems on here, like that solar charging one recently. And they have more complex lenses.
