Pieke Bergmans: Melted & Light Blubs

"Light Blubs" are actually hand blown crystal that look like traditional light bulbs that have been melted. The "blubs" are lit by LED's and will outlast any traditional bulb. "Melted" is a collaboration between Bergmans and Van der Jagt which follows the same theme. It is made by melting the foam in an oven, not too safe, but the results are really interesting. There are plans to further develop "Melted" into a commercial product.
