Appears a user over in the Ladyada.net forums has built an RGB version of the SpokePOV device - pretty impressive. No word on video display capabilities :[ - (brace for advertising blitz should that ever happen) [via Ladaya's ranting]

I always wondered if you could get rid of the 'lines' by placing 2 rows of LED's one behind the other. But stagger the LED's so that you wouldn't have the black lines in between. This would probably increase the resolution too.
