Solar ovens and solar cooking

Sssoven
Imvain2 writes in with a massive collection of solar ovens and tips for sun cooking -

After watching "Living with Ed" on the Green Channel and seeing Ed's sun oven, I was looking online for them. I found this website that links to tutorials for building your own sun oven. I figured the folks at Make could find one of these sun oven tutorials of use.

Building a parabolic solar cooker

I love the last picture, it's a monster.

It looks like the SK-14 parabolic solar cooker from Germany.

The pizza box cooker really is simple to build, all you need is, you guessed it; a pizza box, and some foil of course. A bright sunny day also helps considerably.

Having said that, building a parabolic solar cooker can be as easy as building a pizza box.

Here is a post which explains how to build a parabolic solar cooker, I hope your readers give it a go, they won't regret it.
