RSSTime-lapse panning head
According to the video, you can get these motion bases fairly cheap. Then again, a lot of our readers could whip one up with an Arduino and some servos. I really like the added dimension the panning head gives to the final video.

This article is missing a lot of information. Who is this guy? Where is his site? What head is he using? The video never says what manufacturer or model the head is and it doesn't provide any links other than to telescope-warehouse.com where you can buy the controller. Please, someone fill us in on the details.

Who is this person? Does he have a website? What is the make, model, and manufacturer of the panning head? Seems like he forgot to mention that and didn't provide a link.

I think it's a Meade DS series:

I've got one of these laying around, I think I'll have to try this.
For those who haven't seen the video, he changes the slew ratio using the hand controller, sets the motor speed to 8x siderial and then uses a clamp to hold the button down.
Very creative way to get long term motion control without destroying your 'scope.

None of the links in the video description point to the motor drive. And, like in the video itself, he doesn't mention it in the text of the video description.
