Laser Tattoo

What do you put in a laser cutter when you know you have precious little time with it left? The answer is anything BUT your skin. Blinded by the love of the laser, the folks at instructables laser etched themselves. This is a very bad idea, and even without reading the personal account of the pain experienced by these folks, I wouldn’t dream of sticking my extremities inside that machine while it’s on.

I once tattooed myself with an argon ion laser while tuning the dye laser which it pumped (Hint: the know was right next to the beam path). Given the amount of pain in that one pixel, I can’t imagine doing art that way.
