Create a nightime chorus of crickets that sing through the night by modifying an ordinary solar powered yard light. Original project by Michael F. Zbyszynski.

That sounds nothing like the crickets we have round here, and I could see it getting very annoying very quickly.

And one last thing, Americans take note, it's soldering with an 'l' in it, god knows why you all seem to think it's silent.

Solder

I think there are clearly two pronunciations of the word 'solder'. I've been pronouncing it with a silent 'l' for over 30 years. Check dictionary.com, Websters or any standard dictionary. /ˈsɒdər/ [sod-er]. NOT sol-der.

Are you intending to do any non-magazine projects?

These are very interesting (as I'm not a subscriber to MAKE, i would be if I could be) but it would be nice to see some of your own projects kip kay.
