WiiChuck control of 3D Studio Max

Using Processing, Midi Yoke, Ableton Live and 3D Studio Max Motion Capture Controller, I was able to transmit movement from the WiiChuck to 3D Studio Max via MIDI.

Wiimote? More like Wii Nunchuk!

Maybe it's me but I don't see a wiimote I only see the nunchuk?!?!?!

Maybe this should be renamed =)

no biggie on the naming. this is still really dope!

i imagine a glove with accelerometer built in to manipulate 3dsmax objects by "hand".

Arg! on the "Wiimote." I'd changed it to WiiChuck but never saved the change.

Thanks everyone ^^
I posted some more details on my blog.

@samurai1200 : yeah, that was exactly the first thing that popped into my head once I finished this ^^
You can also think about capturing all the data you want (temperature over a day, proximity sensors output, etc...) and recording it directly in 3D Max before rendering a reaaaal nice animation based on live events. I'll have to give some brainstorming about this, maybe for a future exhibition.

Cheers (and by that I mean "thanks a million time for posting this on MAKE") ^^
