There are many young engineers... we can't wait until they grow up...
A couple fun "maker" commercials from Norway's Hydro "There are many young engineers... we can't wait until they grow up..." - thanks Dan!
I was talking to a friend of mine and he said that many of the mechanical engineering companies, Boeing for example, have engineers that are all over 65 - they'll be gone or dead in 10 years and it's not likely they'll all be replaced. These companies spend over $100k per new engineer, just to find and recruit them... but it's a slow process and there is more demand than supply.
