DIY 30 Watt laser

Huh, here’s a homemade 30 watt laser, not too many details but the Australian maker seems to be answering questions in the comments of the video, baccus61 writes-

My 30 watt ULS powered Laser table with 54x30x9 dimensions. Still a few things to add like a rotary attachment and a martensitic stainless steel top.

One of his other videos (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JOQaNsxflEc), made earlier but added later, shows the laser table in a slightly earlier stage of development. It mentions removing “the glass tube” so I think initial development was done with a gas laser. It also gives the total cost as AU$6000 (US$4,785).

All you need is a spinning mirror and a tracking system and you could vaporize a human from outer space
