How To: Use your tow hook as a camera mount

This is a really easy way to get some nice exterior shots for your next big movie. The website has the complete instructions on how to make your own, along with a few warnings. Don't forget to check out the video too!

What this is good for: autox, backroads, a camera you don't care that much about. What is it not good for: on the track (you need the tow hook operational duh!), in the dirt (might work, but the camera might die), snow (see dirt).

tow-hook attachment?

Interesting. I have never seen a detachable tow hook like this. Are they standard on most cars? I don't hink my Honda Accord has anything like this.

sure...most cars have them in the tool kit

Most cars have them in the tool kit located with the spare tire and scissor jack.
