You know, I've never, EVER, been able to get anything from blip TV to play on any of my 3 computers. All I get is the constant spinning thing in the middle of the screen.
Does anyone else have this problem?

The software and amplifier are much too complicated. All you need is a 9 volt battery and a momentary switch from the auto parts store. The 9 volt battery will simulate the peaks of an AC wave, causing the woofer to go to full excursion in one direction. As long as you aren't constantly pressing the button and aren't using a huge battery, it will not damage the speaker.
I made one of these using a concrete form a few months ago. I cut about 16 inches off of one end, then cut out a strip from the side to make it a smaller diameter, then re-fit it inside its counterpart - making a pneumatic cylinder. I closed the back end with plywood and attached a drawer handle, then attached a baffle on the front. Finally, I used dryer duct to run the fog machine into the cannon's side. It worked like a charm.
