Flickr member OldScot built this aesthetically pleasing data display using a Freeduino, 4 surplus LED telephone displays and a housed it all in a photo display box - nice!
Nice job on your displays! I had been thinking I needed smoked glass for the display and yours prove it. I also use mine to monitor services, in my case imaging web services at work.
Now if only the displays were still available for $1...
